Lead by the Student Environmental Club, the entire Brooks student body participated in a wildly successful clothing swap. Fashion, finance, and friendly on the environment!

International Students had the chance to skate in the local Winter Wonderland in the evening.

The boys and girls Thunderbirds had a back to back Home double header! We all showed up to cheer, and MANY international students were on out Brooks teams!

C Block Kids got the chance to go try the Climbing Co Op in Townsite!

Brooks Students took to the ice again and really got to play some great games of curling! It was an awesome experience, and I am really proud of how well they did, and how they worked together!

Eleven great students left us in the last month, and we celebrated them and their peers with a happy send off.

Students took the ferry to the island to “shop ‘till they drop” in preparation for the holiday season.

Students took to the ice to try a sport deeply engrained in Canadian culture. They got instruction by 4-5 coaches, and will return next week to compete!

Brooks gathered to celebrate a successful first quarter and a change of seasons! Many clubs, teams, and students were celebrated.

Students got to try 5 Pin Bowling (really only popular in Canada), and even shoot some pool downtown.

Students got the chance to try the walls and ropes at the local climbing co-op. They did great!

Students braved the elements and walked down to the landmark Patricia Theatre. We got a tour of the longest continuously running theatre in Canada by Gary of the qathet Film Society!

Brooks students did the Monster Mash all night at our annual Halloween Dance!

Students took to the End of the Road, and saw some beautiful seascapes, and had cinnamon buns at Nancy’s Bakery!

International students took the ferry to Vancouver Island for an Autumn Adventure. Highlights included Coombs Market, Silver Meadows Farms, and the Wildlife Recovery Center.

Students had the chance to carve some spooky pumpkins together, in preparation for the Halloween holiday!

Brooks students got to see local salmon running at the Alex Dobler Salmon Center.

All of Brooks fundraised by participating in the Terry Fox Run, celebrating a national hero.

Students went with Ms. Tuba’s class on a mushroom picking adventure in the local rainforest.
